What is a VMware User Group?
Officially launched in August of 2010, the VMware User Group (VMUG) is an independent, global, customer-led organization, created to maximize members’ use of VMware and partner solutions through knowledge sharing, training, collaboration, and events. With over 100,000 members worldwide, we are the largest organization for virtualization users.
Our standing partnership with VMware has allowed us to create an ever-growing network of customers and partners who continue to strategically impact VMware products and services.
Through VMUG's partnership with VMware, VMUG connects it's members with the valuable resources you need. VMUG connects you with discount programs on VMware training programs, eBooks and print materials.
VMUG allows you the opportunity to network with over 100,000 VMware users on a local, national, and international level. VMUG also provides leadership on industry trends and key topics relevant to you. VMUG Voice, a free monthly eNewsletter and VMUG blogs help you stay on top of these trends.
Lastly, VMUG educates it's users via user conference education sessions, webcasts, and a newly launched eLearning section of www.vmug.com.
